Biography:
Is a Project Manager with the Queensland Alcohol and Drug Research and Education Centre (QADREC) in the School of Population Health at The University of Queensland. One of his current roles involves co-ordinating the state-wide training and accreditation of General Practitioners in the field of Opioid Replacement Prescribing. Clinton is also responsible for managing the QADREC Seminar Series which delivers up to date information for a wide ranging audience from within the government and non government sector. Clinton is also involved in the Addiction Studies program where he is course co-ordinator for up to four courses and regularly guest lectures for other schools within the University. He is also occupied in developing and delivering training packages for numerous disciplines within in community health across the state. He has worked in the public health arena since the early 80’s and in AOD since the mid 80’s. Clinton was one of the original pioneering staff after the inception of QADREC back in 1996. Clinton most recent previous postion was with Child Health Services where he developed several information and education resources for parents, children and Community Health Nurses in the areas of Child Protection and general health issues.Qualifications:
