Take the next step to a postgraduate education
The School’s postgraduate program is designed primarily for those already working in Indigenous health, as well as for those seeking to move into the field. It combines an in-depth understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health with comprehensive training in core public health knowledge. Taught by experienced, supportive lecturers, the program offers practical knowledge and public health skills that students can use everyday to make a difference to Indigenous health. And because many students study part-time or by distance, they can start applying what they have learnt straight away.Students can begin with the Graduate Certificate in Public Health (Indigenous Health), which offers a broad understanding of health and illness in Indigenous Australia, emphasising the potential for effective health improvement. Graduates may build on their knowledge with the Graduate Diploma in Public Health (Indigenous Health) and progress to the Master of Public Health (Indigenous Health).
